Students now have the opportunity to network just as much as teachers. It is important for teachers to make sure that students are aware of these resources out there if they aren't already. Equally important is that teachers listen to their students about the resources they find and use. Here is my interpretation of the 21st century connected student.
Alaura, you make a great point about being open to learning about resources and tools from our students. What a great way to build that teacher-student relationship-let them "teach" us.
ReplyDeleteI also like that Apple has its own connections.
Good idea Alaura! The great thing about this post is that our Internet for Educators course is already exposing us to as many possible resources and different types of websites/technology that will enhance our teaching. I think it will be so important for us as teachers to pass on our knowledge about all the available resources that are possible!
